Handworks

Light and Glass Studios will be participating in Handworks Market this weekend.  The show will be Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 4pm.  Jerri has several new glass pieces, and I have some new photos to display as well.

Lots of great gift options, Jerri has jewerly starting at $10, and I have loose prints for $20.  Tons of framed photos and slumped glass pieces as well. Make sure and stop by to say hi if you come to Handworks.

Sadly, since Jerri has no connections with a local photographer, she doesn’t have any images of her new work yet.

Diversity

The university that I attend has recently decided, in a preemptive move, to eliminate multicultural fellowships. I have been put in charge of an ad hoc committee whose purpose is to write a letter to the administration expressing our contention that this move is ethically unsound. Continue reading ‘Diversity’
