So, it appears that I have found a new home on the internet. We’ll have to see how this works out. I guess the biggest question is ‘whats the point?”

I really don’t like the idea of talking out into the ether. Sure, there are times when its nice to just get something off your chest and not care who reads it. But there is something strange about talking to an undiffereniated mass. Its anti-dialectical. My focus therefore will not be on just shouting stuff out. No, I have a particular audience in mind.

Which leads to the next point, I pretty much don’t care what you think. Wait. Let me rephrase. If I don’t know you, I don’t care what you think. I’m not being mean, and its not just honesty. If I don’t know you, then I don’t know how you write, I don’t know your circumstances, I don’t know your attitudes, ideas, concerns. I have no reference for interacting with you, if we don’t know each other. So, if I don’t know you, don’t be surprised if I ignore you.

So, what am I going to talk talk about on this little corner of the internet that Wah has been so kind in providing? I suspect that it will mostly be Hurricanes, while we are still in season and otherwise, it will be ethics or loosely ethical considerations. Finally, I imagine I’ll be talking about movies.

I won’t be talking about comics. I went cold turkey from that particular addiction back in 1992 and I’ve been clean ever since.
