I’m not perfectly happy with it, but it has an accurate path for the edges of a traditional hasselblad negative and it is scalable to any size image. The action allows you to stop it before it does the full frame effect on the edges (which is the part that needs some work). I have only made it work for cs2, and I am a little doubtful of a cs version . . .
download it here: http://www.vindaugagallery.com//Hassy Edges.atn . If you aren’t happy with the full frame effect just run it again and it will randomly change each time.
CHEATER! Although I do love the name.
did you read our discussion of the cheatin? http://www.vindaugagallery.com/?p=257
Man, that looks great.
The edges are really clean. I’ve noticed (and this might be poor printing technique on my part) that some of my full frame edges get some bleed over. Are yours always this perfect? That is, do you need to incorporate some kind of bleed over effect or does this do that job you want it to do (let people know that the image is full frame)?
