I’d love to keep her. I got a great home. Is the feline AIDS able to get passed on to my cat? But anyways I love doing great things for animals and I would love to take her in.

We are keeping Fender separate from our other animals until we have the second test to find out for sure if she has feline immunodeficiency or not. We would still like to find a good home for her, but we don’t want to give her to someone without them being aware of her possible health problems.

I think its all part of a kitten’s self-defense mechanism to avoid getting given away. Their bodies have learned to develop the antibodies for feline AIDS/HIV, so that you can’t give them away.

While I have not confirmed this with Wyatt, I bet that, if you came to B’more with Fender, we would keep her(?). I get two great things out of this: (1) a new playmate for Liberty; and (2) a chance to see you two again. Don’t ask Wyatt in advance, though. That would ruin all of the fun.

Fender is good. Its got a nice ambiguity; it might be named for a guitar.

How is your anti-social cat taking the new visitor? Maybe she’ll warm up to little Fender.

Gorjus thinks we should call the cat “fender” but I am sticking with “free to a good home.” It is a mouthful, but hopefully it also conveys a deeper meaning.

and, surely, a cat riding around in your wheel well is a sign that you and the cat were meant to be together. How did it get there? How did it survive? Who else would try to transport cats in wheel-wells?

You should name the cat “little buddy” or maybe “little Enos”
