I’m helping to organize an artist market for this years Jubilee Jam, more information is below if you are interested

This year’s Jubilee Jam will include an artist village/market for local artists to sell their creations. There will be no charge for participation, however each artist will be responsible for their own tent, tables, chairs, etc. Each artist will also receive two passes for each day of the event. Jam will be on Friday, June 15th and Saturday the 16th, the hours will be Friday from 5pm to Midnight, and Saturday from 3pm to Midnight. Artist will be set up on Congress Street between Capitol and Amite down the center of the street. Participating artists will be required to set up before the beginning of the festival each day and break down each night. Jam will provide no security and will not be responsible for anyone’s property left overnight. There will be electricity provided to those who request it. Artists are required to have at least one person who can sell their work present in their booth at all times while the festival is open.

If you are interested in participating please send me three jpegs of your work with a maximum dimension of 800 pixels. If you would like to provide slides or prints rather than digital images, please contact me. With your images, please include your name, email address, a contact phone number, a description of your work, and whether you will be willing to demonstrate/work on site. All other things being equal, greater consideration will be given to artists who are willing to work on site. All submissions must be received by May 7th to be considered for the market, and notification of those accepted will go out May 14th.
