I had just finished taking a portrait downtown for the free press, right as the sun was going down, so I decided to try and get a few sunset shots. I had the clever idea to drive up to the top of the city’s garage, but the garage is closed on Sundays. Not to be dissuaded, I parked in front of the swinging arm that lets you in the garage and climbed the six flights of stairs. Once I had my camera and tripod set up I had time for probably 6 shots before the security guard arrived and asked me to leave. He was very polite and even let me take two more shots before he escorted me out. This is the second of those two shots:

I want to make a big stink about you sticking it to the man, not letting their rules hold you back! but I can’t really think of anything clever to say about it. Meanwhile, I like the colors in the top one.
I think the glow of the “Standard Life” against the dark blue clouds in the bottom one is just awesome. I like that one a lot.
2nd one is def my fave.
more fair pictures! where the carnies at?
Lovely photos, as usual!
