So, I finally figured out why I am having such a hard time remembering my password. Its because it never occurs to me that my username is case sensitive. I bet I got my password right all these times and that it is my username that I have been messing up on. Of course, I’ll laugh when Wah responds to this letting me know that usernames are not, in fact, case sensitive. For now though, thats my story.
On to Florence, who will likely do nothing to the United States. Bermuda however seems dead in her sites. There is still some time and even though virtually every model is in agreement we’ll keep our eyes on her. But Bermuda is not why I am writing now. No, Florence is strange on her own. Like, they can’t seem to find the center of the storm. Florence has a very large convection area with tropical storm force winds extending 405 miles from the “center.” She, like other storms this season, isn’t expected to strengthen until after she leaves the tropics. But really, the reason I am bothering to post this at all is because of this little gem by Forecaster Avilla.
“LAST TWO VISIBLE SATELLITE IMAGES PRIOR TO SENDING THIS ADVISORY SUGGESTS THAT THE CLOUD PATTERN IS A LITTLE BETTER ORGANIZED AND THE CENTER APPEARS TO BE TUCKED INTO THE CONVECTION. IF THIS TREND TOWARD ORGANIZATION CONTINUES…SCIENCE WILL HAVE PREVAILED.”
Science will have prevailed. I swear, working at the NHC has got to be fun.
I don’t want to disapoint you.
