I am sitting here as my students are taking their final.Or I should say, I am sitting here as one remaining student is taking her final. Everyone else is gone. Here’s the funny part. We have both been sitting here so long without moving (her writing and me reading websites) that the automatic motion sensative timer in the room shut the lights off. That’s a weird feeling. I stood up and the lights came back on. Go me.

So are exams over? Are you done with the semster? How much more school have you got ahead of you?
In theory I go on the job market this fall. That depends on me getting most, if not all, of the dissertation written before December. This would mean that I graduate next spring. Hopefully I will have a job.
