I’d like to thank all the little people that make this site possible.I would comment on the academy awards but, to be honest, I haven’t seen any of the movies up for the major awards. Sad but true. I think they all look great but I just haven’t found the time to go see any of them. Although I did seem to have time to see UltraViolet this weekend. I liked Jon Stewart hosting but somehow hosting the Oscars seems to suck the life and humor out of everyone. blah blah blah. I’ll leave it to others to dissect who said what, who spoke too long, whose outfit sucked, and who looked bad on camera.
Has anyone besides Ang Lee won best foreign language and best director?
I’d like to thank the poor reception which has liberated me from network television. I’d also like to thank the economy of my personal economy, which has liberated me from cable television. Finally, I’d like to thank netflix, for helping me to live solidly in the past, and for allowing me to not have to wait a whole week to find out what will happen in the next episode of DS9–unless, of course, my mail carrier borrows the disk for a few extra days.
Hahahaha…damn, the only Oscar pic I saw was “King King” and it was only up for some technical stuff and effects. But it sure was a fun movie. Kathleen, you crack me up. For some reason, we can’t even find time to watch the movies we got from Netflix. I mean, damn. Hud, get your no-kid-havin’ ass to the theater and watch all the movies on the planet!!! Do it!!
And then go watch that Natalie Portman rap video. ‘Cause that shit is funny.
Man, I’ve been watching that Natalie Portman rap since way back; I saw it on SNL on Saturday. I swear its some sort of homage to Easy-E’s.
