I’ve decided to become a radical conservative.
I know its hard to make such significant shift in political opinion overnight, but I think I am ready to committ myself to the change. I’ve realized the change is a bad thing and I am going to work against it every chance I get.
I know what you are thinking. “Hud,” says you “why would you join in lock-step with all those political ruffian’s out there that are trying to take our rights away.” Well, those aren’t true radical conservatives. I’ve grown weary of all these namby-pamby so-called radical conservatives ruining the good name of true radicals. Lets face it, these people are merely rabid conservatives not radicals. They want America to return to mythological golden age like every conservative that has preceded them. They want that return with the ferocity of a wild bear. And I commend that level of commitment but there is nothing radical about that, no sir. Hell, its not even very different, no way is it radial. So here is my new plan.
I’m not talking about some return to how things might used to have been, thats change, change is bad. Cover the world in lexan so that nothing changes ever again. Sterilize everything first, I don’t want things growing inside the lexan. We’ll need to find a way preserve things better than we currently do, I’m thinking long-term here people. I want all spatial as well as socio-economic relations frozen and, if possible, I want to stop the earth from spinning. No advancement, no retreat, no change what-so-ever. That is the true radical conservative manifesto.
I would ask you to join me but that would be change in your thinking and I loathe change.
hahaaha, when you start talking about stopping the earth’s rotation…that’s when you hit it. That’s what it really comes down to. True conservatives should attempt to maintain, not regress.
