Apparently, its not my day

Yep, I just got aticket for running a stop sign.

The thing is, I’m fairly certain that I didn’t run a stop. In fact, I was down-right confused to hear that I did run a stop sign so certain was I that I had not run a stop sign. I began to wonder if they added a stop sign somewhere along that stretch of almost parking lot that was my route home. But no, they hadn’t.

I like the idea of contesting tickets but I hate the reality. I get really nervous in front of judges, don’t know why. And for these kinds of court cases what possible defense can I give.

Officer: “He ran the stop sign”
Me: “I did not run the stop sign”
Judge: “Guilty”

Why is it that I am assumed to be a liar while the officer is assumed to be telling the truth? I am the one who is mistaken and the officer is the one who has clear knowledge of the situation? PAH!

What?! Did the officer tell you which stop sign you “ran”?

    How much is that ticket??

Um, and when was the last time you were in front of a judge?
