A friend of mine recently decided that he needed to focus a bit more on school and so wanted to get rid one of his gaming systems. So, I just inherited an X-box.
Considering that he got rid of the thing in an effort to get more work done I should have been more unwilling to take it off his hands. But it was such a good deal. I get the X-box and he gets some speakers that have been collecting dust in my closet. Then, all I have to do is buy him motoGP 4 when it comes out for the PS2. Basically, I get an Xbox for 50 bucks. And it came with 6 games!
One game it came with is motoGP 3. Holy crap is this thing hard. I’ve been playing it off and on for a couple of days and I can’t complete a lap without wrecking or driving all the hell off the sides of the track. Sure enough though, this isn’t getting my dissertation written.
Hey. Are you going to bring that home the next time you come for a visit? Hell, we may still visit you yet! We’ll be old-car hunting today!
la federala had a pal that left his with famil bc his law school grades couldn’t take it.
Yeah, well, it ain’t gonna get any easier to put down. What other games did you get? Beware of Halo…that is a life sucker right there. Polly and I had a blast playing that at the cigar shop on the giant TV. It was one of the best two player set-ups I’d ever seen. Just awesome.
Get Fable!! You will love the good and evilness. Also, the first Knights of the Old Republic.
I’ve played Halo and Halo 2. I think they are alright and nice two player games but I’m not going goofy for it. I have been thinking about getting KotOR for the computer for a while, I might consider it some more for the Box. It came with…(trying to think because I’m not at home right now)… Ninja Gaiden (neat), some black ops special forces thing, Unreal Tournament… not sure, I don’t seem to care much.
I stood in the video game store the other day just staring at the wall of stuff and realizing that I didn’t really care about any of it. I think I want a Tony Hawk game and probably some car racing game. But really I just want that glider game for the 64.
I did buy X-Men Legends (the first one) and did nothing else on MLK day. Its got some serious nerd points. There is a point when you play a flash back story and the teams outfits change to what they wore during the time of the flashback. Oh yeah, original X-Men squad with the goofy-ass blue and yellow jumpsuits!
