I think that gorjus and gclark have really hit on something that I try to do, but sometimes forget; it is really essential to only show people your work as it is meant to be seen. I put the four of them together because I thought it is interesting to be able to see all four sisters together, however the images were made with the intention of putting them all in a book, with each image displayed on a separate page sequenced with their families (husbands, children, etc.). If I had shot them with intention of displaying them as above I don’t think I would have made them all the same, I would have focused on making them all a little more distinct with some design element pulling your eye toward the middle (which makes the bottom left image the one most in need of alteration, in my opinion).

Is it too trite to wish that you did the top two in the same shadow/pose as the bottom two? First of all, it really pulls out the similarities.

i like the images, but remember, most women aren’t fond of how they look on paper.
