If I can get myself together in time, I may have a few photos on display at the Capri tonight. And Jayrah will have some glass pieces there too! Here is a qoute from the fearless organizer:
Tomorrow at the art mix there will be a variety of artists at the CAPRI showing their wares and art. From jewelry to photography! You also get to view the Capri and see what a valuable piece of fondren history it is and how a renovation would be a worthwhile cause to support. Donation jar there for that as well!

From 5pm to 8pm…all local business are open..so grab your scarves and mittens and come on out!

Help me out, what is the Capri?
Hud, the Capri is an old movie theater in the middle of the Fondren neighborhood in Jackson. It had a really cool retro sign and a stage in fron of the screen and the whole shebang, but it was abandonded for many years and became a hangout for some unsavory folks and was just really trashed for a long time.
Wah, how did the show go?
They are attemmpting to restore the capri, which Dr. Wagner implied, but I wanted to make sure it was clear.
Jayrah did better than I did, but I had some nice comments, and met lots of cool people.
Knock, knock! Hello? Anybody home? Is there some kind of time sink over there where you live? It’s mid-December over here!
I suspect that Hud has some end-of-semester stuff to deal with . . . so, uh. What’s your excuse for not posting? We are dying from boredom in the blogosphere!
