A few pictures of some vendors and one portrait of a customer who was kind enough to let me take their picture.
He has the distinction of being the subject of the first color image in the portrait gallery.
More images of the vendors can be found in the Belhaven Market folder.
The next one has only been resized, otherwise I have done nothing to the image. The variance in color saturations is an effect of the light and therefore exposure, which I found very interesting.
Wow. I am impressed by the beard. I really am. Wish I could grow one like that…I would wear bucksins all the time and a coonskin cap. Damn that is a badass beard.
Good pics. The third vendor in the blue is really nice. In the other picture of her in the gallery, she has a very pretty profile…with a very sharp nose…like a manaquin nose, but in a good way.
The color saturation on the flame is interesting. Wonder what it takes to do that? Glad to see more pictures. I like these.
Thanks for the compliment.
The color saturation thing has given me some ideas, but unfortunately anything I do like that would be presumed to be digitally manipulated.
The more I look it at the more I like that picture, maybe it’s her hand over her eyes or her looking in the distance…I don’t know. It’s times like these that I wish I were more articulate. Good photo.
